Each year the Council recognizes some of the area's most distinguished entrepreneurs. These awards honor Frederick County residents or owners of Frederick County companies whose ingenuity, hard work and perseverance have created and sustained viable business ventures that contribute to the economic well being of our community. Awards are presented for both emerging (1-5 years) and established (5+ years) businesses. The Council also honors select individuals for business longevity (20+ years) and community participation with a Master Entrepreneur Award.

The 2008 Entrepreneur Council of Frederick County Awards Banquet will be held on June 17, 2008 at Dutch's Daughter. A social mixer from 6:00 to 7:00 with dinner and presentations beginning at 7:00. Cost is $65 per person or a group table of 8 is $500.
